This brilliant aperitif is the French answer to amaro. Slightly bitter, but wonderfully refreshing, this liquer will tantalize the most stubborn of taste buds! With Summer (stubbornly) right around the corner, these are the perfect additions to your liquor cabinet!
Established in 1872, the Maison Lillet has been making the first, and only, aperitif in Bordeaux. Made with fruit macerations and wines, Lillet in all its forms brings a freshness to any meal, or to any cocktail. In fact it was in the 1940’s that, through the tireless efforts of the company in the United States, the classic cocktail the “Vesper” was born (also known as James Bond’s Cocktail of choice). So snap a bottle up for yourself, and mix away!
